Position Summary:
The Regional Field Instructor leads training efforts across the assigned region. This role is responsible for identifying training needs, developing and delivering effective training programs, and ensuring security personnel are prepared to perform their duties safely and effectively.
The Regional Field Instructor partners with internal teams to support employee performance, productivity, and ongoing development, while promoting a culture of continuous learning.
Responsibilities:Develop, update, and deliver training materials, manuals, and SOPs.
Partner with operations and subject matter experts to identify training needs.
Deliver in-person and virtual training across multiple sites within the region.
Ensure training programs meet contractual, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
Conduct site visits to address training gaps and support compliance efforts.
Lead train-the-trainer programs and support local leaders with effective training techniques.
Monitor training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
Build strong relationships with operational leaders and third-party vendors.
Support new client transitions, acquisitions, and regional training needs.
Serve as the primary training resource for the Regional Operations Manager.
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Criminal Justice, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Ability to obtain and maintain required state and federal licenses.
Ability to obtain Pistol Instructor certification within 90 days (if applicable).
Valid driver’s license required when operating a company vehicle.
Minimum of 3 years of classroom instructor experience.
Experience in customer service, personnel supervision, and team leadership.
Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint).
Able to work independently with sound judgment and discretion.
Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and strong attendance.
Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
Comfortable multitasking in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
Willingness to travel and work extended hours as needed.
