Position Overview
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will drive the adoption and sale of our LED light fixtures to our target markets in the Industrial and heavy industrial and hazardous marketplace. Our key verticals include Power Generation and Energy, Chemical and Petrochemical, Oil and Gas, Pulp and Paper, Food and Beverage Processing, Mining and Metals, Ports and Shipyards, and Automotive and Manufacturing. The successful candidate will manage Northwest Texas and Oklahoma. The successful individual will have responsibility for managing manufacturer's representative firms along with relationships at distribution, (electrical/lighting), contractors, specifiers, and industrial facility managers including maintenance, plant electricians, project engineers, and health and safety engineers.
The position will report to the Director of Sales. Compensation is a competitive base salary with benefits, plus commissions. The region has a strong sales pipeline and is positioned for growth.

Our ideal candidates have a bachelor's degree level of education in Business or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. We are seeking an individual who has five years of consultive sales of products to the heavy industrial and hazardous marketplace. The successful candidate must be able to read and understand technical specifications and drawings with a good working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. Previous experience with Salesforce or AGI and the sale of Industrial Lighting Products in hazardous locations is preferred.
Candidate must live in the sales territory and be willing to travel as needed to maximize sales growth. Must be a self-starter, with good organizational skills, a good sense of time and territory management, and be able to develop and maintain solid working relationships with customers and distributors.
