The Team You Will Be a Part Of

The Field Sales (Commission) team develops and manages relationships through phone and on-site visits. Negotiates partnership agreements to achieve desired revenue and profitability objectives. Drives joint partner/channel sales opportunities. Uses sales tools for accurate forecasting of current and future business.

This role in summary: Whirlpool is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Regional Sales Manager. This role is responsible for the Midwestern region (MI, IN, OH, WV, IL, WI, MN, IA, MO, ND, SD, NE, KS).

Commercial Laundry Sales Manager

The Sales Manager for Commercial Laundry is responsible for developing and executing specific growth strategies. As an owner of a designated region within the business unit, this individual will need to grow revenue, share, and volume with commercial laundry distributors and route operators. This individual will work across multiple functions within a unique business unit within Whirlpool Corporation.

Your Responsibilities

• Developing a distribution plan for the region, with individual strategies per customer, territory, and segment • Knowledge or experience in all three segments in the industry (Vended/Coin, OPL and Multihousing/Route) • Developing/sustaining key relationships with existing and potential new customers • Creating a go-to-market plan across touchpoints to deliver multiple year growth plans • Immersing self in product training and providing product/features to be able to provide in-depth sales trainings in market • Collaborating with marketing and brand for successful go-to-market plans • Collaborating with engineering and product development on feature/product feedback and market needs assessment and launches • Being a team player among a North American sales team by sharing best practices, developing insightful ways to win together, and leveraging different experiences • Becoming a learner and a leader in the laundry trade associations • Willingness to travel for extended periods of time throughout a large region covering multiple states

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree • 5+ years of sales experience in the commercial laundry industry
