Rescue Intellitech is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive sales growth, market development, and customer engagement across a U.S. territory. This role builds and maintains strong relationships with fire departments, emergency services, and industrial safety organizations.

This is a remote position with occasional travel to Manassas, VA, and Malmö, Sweden for meetings and company events.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Rescue Intellitech’ s product portfolio to effectively communicate features, benefits, and competitive differentiators.
  • Conduct regional market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform territory strategy.
  • Execute regional sales strategies aligned with national sales objectives, product capabilities, and brand values.
  • Provide regular market feedback to the Vice President – Sales and internal teams to support product positioning and continuous improvement.
  • Accurately forecast regional sales activity to support production planning and inventory management.
  • Build, manage, and strengthen long-term relationships with fire departments, industrial safety organizations, and key regional stakeholders.
  • Stay current on fire service legislation, regional regulations, NFPA standards, industry trends, and emerging technologies to proactively address customer needs.
  • Represent Rescue Intellitech at regional and national trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings to drive brand awareness and gather market intelligence.
  • Ensure a high-quality customer experience throughout the sales cycle, from initial engagement through post-sale follow-up.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, escalations, and relationship management within their assigned territory.
  • Work closely with the Vice President – Sales to align regional initiatives with overall company strategy and national sales goals.
  • Coordinate with Marketing, Product, Business Development, and Service teams to support regional campaigns, product launches, and customer requirements.
  • Partner with the Director of Service to ensure seamless transition from sales commitments to service delivery.
  • Share best practices, insights, and lessons learned with other Regional Sales Managers to ensure consistent execution nationwide.
  • Support cross-company collaboration within the Sandberg Development Group.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, process improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and complete records within the company CRM to support forecasting, reporting, and pipeline management.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and customer focus.
  • Participate in company meetings, training, and strategic planning sessions as required.

Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience is preferred, not required.
    • Minimum of five (5) years of sales or business development experience, preferably within fire safety, emergency services, or industrial safety industries. (Previous experience as a Firefighter and/or managing a multi-state or regional sales territory is strongly preferred.
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
    • Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment
    • Highly organized, disciplined, and results-driven
    • Proficiency with CRM platforms, sales analytics tools, and virtual collaboration technologies
    • Familiarity with fire service operations, NFPA standards, and industrial safety requirements is a significant advantage.
    • Knowledgeable on SCBA equipment and cleaning protocols
    • Remote role based in their assigned territory.
    • Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout their respective territory to meet customers, attend trade shows, and support sales initiatives.
    • Periodic travel to company offices in Manassas, Virginia, and Malmö, Sweden for strategic meetings and company events.
