    Job Summary The Regional Sales Director is the Sales “owner” of mid-market accounts in their assigned territory. This role, working alongside business development, is tasked with identifying, qualifying, winning and closing new business opportunities for Homecare Homebase. The successful candidate has a self-starter, “hunter” mentality with a strong competitive spirit and works well as part of an assertive, high performing sales team.Responsibilities Exceed assigned sales quota and pipeline building objectives within the assigned territoryUnderstands and can effectively manage a complex selling process from qualification to closureProactively builds and executes on a robust strategic territory planBuild relationships with target accounts in the assigned territory to secure strong competitive positioningWork with business development to qualify, identify and follow-up on inbound leads in a timely manner through marketing campaigns and other market outreach effortsGenerate and nurture qualified leads; this includes: identifying, prioritizing, and following up on contacts and targets as part of your territory planUnderstands and can articulate the value of all HCHB solutions and services, interoperability and operational benefits of HCHB to agenciesDemonstrate key features of the software solution, including the use of client stories to drive the value of HCHBCoordinate the product specialist team to deliver winning product demonstrations to qualified prospectsDeliver an accurate sales forecast as well as other activities-based updates to sales leadershipDocument activities in SalesForce.com to capture relevant information about each prospect, aiding the sales process and management reporting capabilitiesManage the RFP process for your assigned accountsCoordinate and participate in site-visits, reference calls, contract negotiations and financial proposals/ROIsMaintains positive relationships with current clients including C-Level executivesCoordinate client case studies and important user stories with marketingParticipate in trade shows and conferences in assigned territoryAbout you A self-starting high performing hunter sales mentalityConfident and assertive with the ability to develop strong prospect relationshipsA clear communicator able to make well-reasoned recommendations to all levels of the organizationStrong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence in order to achieve resultsExcellent command of verbal and written language and excellent presentation skillsAbility to handle rejection during sales effortsProcess oriented, yet flexible concerning calling/campaign response prioritiesExcellent time management and organizational skillsOvernight travel requiredRequirements Bachelor's Degree3 years software sales experiencePost-Acute experience a plusEquivalent combination of education and experience will be consideredCitizenship: HCHB requires all applicants to be US citizens or have green card allowing them to work in the US without being subject to export control restrictions.Valid Driver\'s license requiredAbout Us Founded in 1999, Homecare Homebase, a subsidiary of Hearst Corporation is a market leader in healthcare software development providing mobile cloud-based solutions for clinical, operational, and financial improvement of home care, hospice and personal care agencies throughout the United States.
