Prior experience navigating DOT OSHA or other regulatory audits.
Certified Safety Professional CSP Occupational Health and Safety Technologist OHST or NEBOSH certification.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher with proven process-improvement projects .

Work closely with site leaders to adapt corporate safety policies into practical actionable procedures.
Ensure safety initiatives are operationally relevant and achievable without compromising intent.
Build Relationships & Influence Culture.
Serve as a trusted partner to site teams fostering a safety-first mindset through coaching and collaboration.
Facilitate open dialogue between regional operations and corporate safety to surface challenges and successes.
Drive Execution & Accountability.
Support site teams in implementing safety programs and initiatives.
Monitor execution and provide real-time feedback to the Director of Distribution and Corporate Safety Director.
Field Engagement & Feedback Loop.
Conduct regular site visits to observe practices engage with teams and gather insights.
Identify trends gaps and opportunities for improvement and communicate them effectively to leadership.
Enable Safety Training and Continuous Improvement.
Partner with site leaders to identify skill gaps create training plans and ensure the right people get the right development at the right time.
Coach frontline supervisors and trainers to embed Zero Harm principles into everyday habits and decision-making.
Measure training effectiveness through assessments and on-the-job observations then coordinate with corporate Safety on changes and improvements to the program.
Champion a learning culture by sharing best practices across sites.
Help refine safety systems based on field experience and operational feedback.
Assist in development and deliver engaging training modules that translate corporate safety policies into distribution center practices.
Maintain and administer the DC safety and operations training program and recordkeeping.
Develop and maintain the DC training schedules for the region topic presentertrainer etc..
Support DC leadership with the development of training materials and literature.
Ensure all training sessions produce signed attendance rosters and save rosters electronically.
Communicate with DC and safety leadership to understand training gaps for inclusion in the training calendar.
