About the Role:
This Safety Manager role will be based in South Easton Massachusetts and will support active jobs throughout Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire. The Regional Safety Manager will work directly with field crews, supervisors, and operations leaders to reinforce safe work practices while keeping projects moving.
You'll be highly visible in the field, respected by crews, and trusted as a practical safety leader who understands construction realities, not just compliance manuals.

What you’ll be doing:
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve safety programs
- Serve as the primary safety leader
- Conduct regular jobsite visits across the region, typically 2–3 days per week, performing inspections, audits, and real-time coaching with crews and supervisors.
- Lead new-hire safety orientations, toolbox talks, and task-specific training tailored to active job scopes.
- Partner with project managers, superintendents, and foremen to identify hazards early and implement practical mitigation strategies.
- Lead incident reporting, investigations, and root-cause analysis, ensuring corrective actions are completed and documented.
- Track and analyze safety performance metrics using ISNetworld, client compliance portals, and internal reporting tools.
- Support client safety requirements, audits, and prequalification processes.
- Maintain accurate safety documentation including JHAs, permits, inspections, and regulatory records.
- Act as a coach and advisor to field leadership, reinforcing a zero-injury mindset without slowing productivity or creating friction.
What you need to bring to the table:
- 3+ years of safety leadership experience in commercial or industrial construction, preferably within MEP environments.
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety best practices.
- Experience supporting multiple active jobsites across different locations.
- Certifications strongly preferred: OSHA 500, CHST, NFPA 70E, First Aid/CPR.
- Experience working in both union and non-union environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with compliance platforms such as ISNetworld, Avetta, or similar systems.
- Strong communication skills with the credibility to influence field teams and operations leadership.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize field presence, and manage competing demands.
- Must be based in the South Easton MA area.
