The Seth Moulton for U.S. Senate Campaign is seeking highly organized, experienced, and politically astute individuals to serve as Regional Organizing Directors (RODs). RODs are responsible for developing and executing the field strategy within an assigned region of Massachusetts. They will manage and coach a team of organizers, build robust volunteer leadership structures, and oversee voter contact, volunteer recruitment, delegate procurement, and Get Out The Vote (GOTV) efforts. The ideal candidate is an experienced campaign staffer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to empowering grassroots organizing.

Role Responsibilities

•       Manage a regional field team: Hire, train, and supervise field organizers and fellows across multiple turf areas.

•       Develop and implement organizing plans: Translate statewide goals into actionable regional plans, including voter contact targets, event goals, and volunteer recruitment metrics.

•       Volunteer leadership development: Build sustainable volunteer infrastructure, including neighborhood teams, community captains, and coalition leads.

•       Voter contact and data management: Ensure timely and accurate data collection in VAN and other campaign tools; track progress toward regional metrics.

•       Coordinate regional events: Lead canvass launches, phone banks, visibility events, and trainings in collaboration with other departments.

•       Collaborate across departments: Work closely with the political, communications, and digital teams to align messaging and maximize regional engagement.

•       Drive GOTV execution: Oversee the regional GOTV plan, ensuring all voters are contacted and turnout goals are met.

•       Represent the campaign locally: Build relationships with local leaders, activists, and community organizations to expand the campaign's reach.

Qualifications

•       At least two cycles of campaign experience, with one cycle in a field management role (e.g., Organizing Director, Regional Organizing Director, or Field Organizer).

•       Proven ability to manage staff, meet goals, and adapt quickly in dynamic campaign environments.

•       Strong understanding of field organizing, volunteer management, and voter contact programs.

•       Proficiency with VAN, Excel/Google Sheets, and campaign communication tools (e.g., Slack, Mobilize, Reach, etc.).

•       Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

•       Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in organizing and leadership practices.

•       Valid driver's license and reliable access to a vehicle (required).

•       Willingness to work long, irregular hours—including evenings and weekends—through Election Day.
