The Regional Operations Manager (ROM) is a key operational leader responsible for driving performance, consistency, and growth across a defined group of dental practices within Mosaic Dental Collective. This role serves as the execution engine of the region, translating strategy into action at the practice level. The ROM reports to the VP of Operations and leads Practice Administrators (PAs) and Office Managers (OMs) to ensure strong performance across scheduling, patient flow, revenue cycle execution, and team development.
Scope of Responsibility
Oversight of 10-25 dental offices within a defined region
Direct leadership of 3–5 Practice Administrators (each supporting 2–3 offices)
Accountability for regional performance across revenue, growth, and operational KPIs
Operational Performance & Accountability
Own performance across core KPIs including schedule utilization, new patient acquisition, existing patient scheduling, production, collections, and case acceptance
Lead weekly performance reviews with PAs focused on forward-looking schedule optimization· Identify performance gaps and drive corrective action plans
Ensure consistent execution of Mosaic’s operational standards
Scheduling & Patient Flow Execution
Enforce and optimize Harmonized Scheduling (HAS)
Align provider capacity with patient demand
Partner with call center, online scheduler and other scheduling departments/tools
Drive reactivation and schedule optimization strategies
Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Execution
Ensure disciplined execution of treatment planning and collections
Monitor insurance verification and billing accuracy
Improve reappointment and recall processes
Partner with RCM teams to improve cash flow
Data-Driven Leadership & Analytics
Translate data into actionable insights
Monitor trends and proactively address risks
Drive a data-driven culture
Support forecasting and reporting
Team Leadership & Development
Coach and develop Practice Administrators

Requirements
5+ years of multi-site operations leadership
Proven ability to drive performance
Strong analytical skills
Experience managing leaders
Track record of improving KPIs
Experience with P&L statements
Travel required within CA region
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
