The Regional Operations Manager will oversee and support the General Managers in executing the day-to-day operations of both company and franchise-owned restaurants within their assigned region. This role is crucial in ensuring that all locations meet the company’s quality, service, and profitability standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving operational success.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Oversight: Ensure all restaurants in the region adhere to company standards and policies through regular visits and virtual inspections.
Performance Management: Monitor and analyze restaurant performance metrics, including sales, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and support to restaurant managers to enhance their skills and performance.
Compliance: Ensure all locations comply with health, safety, and labor regulations.
Franchise Relations: Support franchisees in achieving their business goals and maintaining brand standards.
Beverage Program Oversight: Directly manage and develop our beverage program.
Requirements
Travel Requirements
The Regional Operations Manager is required to visit each restaurant within their region 3 – 6 times per year, depending on performance, to ensure operational standards are met and to provide support to the restaurant managers.
It is estimated that this role should be 70% in field-related duties and 30% in office-related tasks.
Travel Expenses: All travel-related expenses, including transportation, accommodation, and meals, will be covered by the company in accordance with our travel policy.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
Fluency in English is required and proficiency in Spanish is strongly preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in a multi-unit role.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to travel frequently within the assigned region.
Experience developing or managing a bar or beverage program is preferred.
