Regional Operations Manager, Manufactured Housing Communities

Position Summary:

The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the operational performance of multiple manufactured housing communities. This role ensures that each property meets or exceeds goals related to occupancy, community appearance, and delinquency. The Regional Manager collaborates closely with Community Managers, their teams, and upper management to deliver an enjoyable and memorable experience for residents and guests. They are also responsible for developing and executing well-designed business plans with support from the sales team, asset manager, and other relevant departments.

The ideal candidate will be based in one of the following markets: Kansas City, Dallas-Fort Worth, Tulsa, Indianapolis, or St. Louis, as this role requires regular travel to and oversight of communities within the assigned region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure properties operate efficiently and meet goals for occupancy, community appearance, and delinquency.
• Collaborate with Community Managers and their teams to implement best practices and drive performance.
• Work closely with upper management to align community operations with company objectives.
• Foster a positive living experience for residents and guests through high standards of service and community engagement.
• Develop and execute strategic business plans tailored to each community.
• Coordinate with sales, asset management, and other departments to support operational initiatives.
• Monitor financial performance and implement cost-effective solutions.
• Conduct regular site visits and audits to ensure compliance and quality standards.
• Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to on-site teams.

Skills &Qualications:

• 5+years of experience in property management or regional operations, preferably in manufactured housing or multifamily housing.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple properties and teams effectively.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and business planning.
• Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between properties.

Working Conditions:

• 50–75%travel.
• Base location can be flexible within the region.
• Vehicle stipend or mileage reimbursement is provided.
