A leading property management company is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to oversee property operations across a portfolio. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with a background in multifamily management. Working collaboratively, the new leader will drive performance by managing operations and teams while ensuring financial results and operational consistency.

Salary + Additional Benefits:
  • $105,000-$125,000

Location: West Houston, TX - Onsite
Type of Position:Direct Hire

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a multi-site portfolio of 5–10 properties, ensuring consistent operational performance.
  • Maintain full accountability for property-level financial results, including budget adherence, occupancy stabilization, and expense control.
  • Monitor and drive key performance metrics such as leasing activity, delinquency rates, unit turn timelines, and resident retention.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Property Managers and on-site teams to achieve operational excellence.
  • Conduct regular site inspections while coordinating capital projects and maintaining quality control standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, safety protocols, and company operational policies.
  • Translate strategic direction into clear operational priorities and ensure consistent execution across all properties.
  • Adapt operational strategies based on asset type while upholding uniform performance expectations.
  • Establish and enforce structured performance routines, accountability measures, and follow-through processes to drive measurable outcomes.
  • Oversee make-ready schedules, preventative maintenance programs, vendor management, and capital planning processes.
  • Partner across administrative and field operations to ensure alignment in leasing, maintenance, and overall service delivery.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of multifamily experience, including 3–5 years managing a regional portfolio
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Hospitality, or related field preferred; equivalent industry experience considered
  • CPM, CAM, or CAPS certification strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing multi-site operational performance
  • Experience operating in stakeholder-driven environments
  • Proven track record of driving measurable operational improvements
  • Strong financial acumen with a focus on operational efficiency
  • Working knowledge of maintenance operations and performance accountability
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence and support diverse property teams
