We are seeking an experienced Regional Nurse Consultant to support and oversee the clinical operations of multiple skilled nursing facilities in and around the Kansas City, Missouri area. The ideal candidate is a strong clinical leader with a deep understanding of regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and best practices in skilled nursing care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical oversight and guidance to facility nursing teams to ensure the highest standards of resident care.

  • Monitor compliance with state and federal regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

  • Conduct on-site visits to assess quality measures, identify areas for improvement, and support corrective action plans.

  • Mentor and train Directors of Nursing and other clinical staff to strengthen leadership and operational consistency.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote positive clinical outcomes and enhance resident satisfaction.

  • Analyze data and trends to develop proactive quality and performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license (Missouri or compact state).

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a Regional Nurse Consultant, Director of Nursing, or similar leadership role in skilled nursing.

  • Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, survey readiness, and clinical systems management.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to travel regularly within the assigned region.
