Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage the existing fleet of ADS units across all company sites.
  • Develop and maintain a centralized, up-to-date inventory of all ADS units within the organization.
  • Standardize the physical setup and operational workflows of ADS units across all facilities.
  • Create and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for new unit installations, restocking processes, and daily operations.
  • Continuously assess performance and utilization of ADS units and recommend improvements or replacements.
  • Audit OSS and external medication identifiers to ensure accurate billing and inventory accountability.
  • Analyze STAT orders to determine needs for adjusting medication par levels or modifying unit contents by location.
  • Verify replenishment logs against dispensing data to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Create a standardized startup formulary to streamline the implementation process, with flexibility to expand based on site specific needs.
  • Regularly monitor and analyze system error logs, taking corrective actions as necessary.
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate ADS unit types based on the unique operational needs of each startup or facility.
  • Research and evaluate alternative ADS solutions, balancing cost effectiveness with company goals and scalability.
  • Conduct audits on expired medications and formulary maintenance to ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to company standards.
  • Perform onsite assessments of pharmacies and ADS departments to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
  • Travel to company locations and client facilities as needed, including occasional field-based support for new installations.
  • Actively participate in high volume startup projects and assist with hands on implementation and configuration of ADS units.

Qualifications:
  • Licensed Pharmacy Technician required.
  • Strong understanding of pharmacy operations, medication inventory control, and compliance standards.
  • Proven ability to lead cross functional teams and manage projects across multiple sites.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time, walk, bend or crouch frequently.
  • Ability to occasionally perform light lifting (up to 25 pounds) and repetitious physical activity.
  • Repetitive computer and phone use.
  • Work is performed in pharmacy and/or office environment.
