We're hiring a Regional Director of Nursing (RN) - a compassionate and strategic clinical leader who ensures excellence in care delivery and supports a thriving team environment. This role blends clinical expertise, leadership, and empathy to elevate the quality of life for our residents.
This position will be responsible for supporting our communities on the West Coast. Candidates should be based in California.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Assists in data collection and review and analysis of clinical outcome data from communities in the region.
- Assists with establishment of clinical programs during time of new acquisitions. This may include interviewing and hiring clinical associates and on-site training.
- Will collaborate with the Director of Quality Assurance to identify trends in clinical outcomes that are less than optimal and collaborate with appropriate clinical staff and leadership to establish a plan for measurable quality improvement.
- Oversee clinical audits.
- In the event of a DHS vacancy at a Silverado community, may provide on-site nursing leadership.
- Provides timely reports to Senior Vice President of Clinical Services and Director of Quality Assurance as requested.
- Communicates in timely manner to Senior Vice President of Clinical Services and Regional Vice President of Operations any unusual occurrences/concerns relating to regional clinical care. Ensures regulatory compliance.
- May be asked to travel out of region for meetings and other duties.
Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate of accredited school of nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience supervising others to include: setting performance expectations, coaching, motivating, promoting collaboration and teamwork, promoting company culture, managing change, providing performance feedback, delegating effectively, resolving conflicts, etc.
- Clinical competency in standards of care for adult patients/residents with multiple chronic co-morbidities, including dementia. Familiar with gero-psychiatric diagnosis and common treatment modalities.
- Willing to demonstrate passion and ability to work with people with Alzheimer's disease and other dementia-related diseases.
- Ability to utilize computer programs for communication needs and medical documentation purposes.
- Willingness to work outside regular hours based on business needs.
- Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills across diverse audiences
- Must be comfortable working in an environment with pets.
- Must have valid driver's license, good driving record, and current auto insurance.

Anticipated pay range
$160,000-$180,000 USD
