Regional Demand Planner (Nouryon Functional Chemicals LLC) (Houston, TX): Develop and execute precise demand plans to support specialized polymers portfolio, ensuring alignment between sales forecasts, production schedules and inventory strategies to meet customer demands efficiently; Utilize advanced statistical models and forecasting tools tailored to the polymer industry to enhance demand accuracy; Monitor and assess market trends, competitive activities, and technological advancements affecting polymer demand; Oversee inventory levels for the Polymer Specialties line, recommending strategies to optimize stock levels, reduce excesses, and prevent shortages; Conduct root cause analyses on inventory variances, implementing solutions to enhance inventory accuracy and reliability; Identify and lead initiatives for process improvements in demand planning, specifically within the polymer sector, to boost accuracy and efficiency; and Prepare detailed reports on demand forecast accuracy, inventory status, and key performance indicators (KPIs). The following skills and experience are required in order to complete the above-mentioned tasks: Experience analyzing data, including mass cross-reference data validation, trending and forecasting; Experience communicating with all functional levels within a business; Experience with regional demand planning using SAP (or equivalent ERP system), Business Warehouse (or equivalent data warehouse), and Arkieva (or equivalent advanced planning software); Experience independently working in all aspects of the supply chain process from start to finish; Experience with MS Office packages (Excel, Access, and SharePoint); Experience with demand forecasting techniques and statistical analysis; Experience with integrated business planning (IBP) processes specific to polymers; and Experience with crosslinking, polymer additives, organometallics, and thermosets. Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, or related field. Requires at least 5 years of experience in demand planning or supply chain roles specific to polymers. Travel is required 10% of the time within the United States. Salary: $95,035 - $155,825/year.
