This is a future opening for a Regional Clinical Reimbursement Consultant dedicated to State Veterans Homes, contingent upon award selection.
The role involves leading clinical reimbursement processes across multiple long-term care facilities, ensuring accurate MDS assessments, optimizing reimbursement under PDPM, and maintaining regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities include supporting MDS documentation, overseeing audits, providing education on coding and documentation standards, analyzing reimbursement data, and collaborating with clinical, financial, and operational leaders.
Qualified candidates must be licensed RNs with a BSN, 5–7 years of long-term care MDS and reimbursement experience, and strong knowledge of CMS regulations and PDPM. Travel within the region is required. Preferred qualifications include regional leadership experience and relevant certifications.
