NHS Management, LLC is hiring a Regional Business Office Manager (RBOM) to lead medical billing, collections, and revenue cycle performance across multiple skilled nursing facilities.

This role is built for someone who knows how to:

  1. Clean up aging AR
  2. Fix broken billing processes
  3. Hold teams accountable for collections performance

What You’ll Own (Day 1 Focus)

Billing & Collections Performance

  1. Oversee Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and private pay billing
  2. Drive collections strategy to reduce AR days and increase cash flow
  3. Manage and resolve denials, underpayments, and billing issues
  4. Ensure clean claims submission and aggressive follow-up
  5. Monitor AR aging reports and take immediate action on problem accounts

Team Leadership (Multi-Facility)

  1. Lead and support Business Office Managers, billers, and financial staff
  2. Train and coach teams on billing accuracy and collections discipline
  3. Hold facilities accountable for performance metrics and deadlines
  4. Step in to stabilize underperforming business offices

Revenue Cycle Oversight

  1. Analyze cash collections, AR trends, and reimbursement performance
  2. Identify gaps and implement process improvements across facilities
  3. Partner with Administrators and DONs to align census and financial outcomes
  4. Support budgeting with a focus on revenue capture and reimbursement accuracy

Compliance & Accuracy

  1. Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and payer guidelines
  2. Maintain audit-ready documentation and billing practices
  3. Support internal and external audits

What You Need to Bring

  1. 3–5+ years of SNF / Long-Term Care billing & collections experience
  2. Experience managing or supporting multiple facilities or business offices
  3. Strong knowledge of:
  4. Medicare Part A & B
  5. Medicaid
  6. Managed Care / Insurance billing
  7. Proven success in:
  8. Reducing AR aging
  9. Improving collections
  10. Fixing billing issues
  11. Leadership experience with billing teams, BOMs, or financial staff
  12. Strong Excel and reporting skills
  13. Associate’s degree required | Bachelor’s preferred
