What Will You Do in This Role?
As a Regional Business Office Consultant, you will provide oversight and support for a group of skilled nursing facilities in relation to business office processes. You will be responsible for consulting and guiding assigned Business Office Managers, monitoring billing and collection efforts, audit and train Business Office employees on policies and procedures, communicate and escalate risk items to leadership, participate in continuous improvement efforts, ensuring timely and accurate billing and payments are received by designated timelines, and monitoring for compliance of Internal Controls.
Do You Have What It Takes?
Minimum of five years of experience managing a skilled nursing facility business office
Prior experience managing multiple skilled nursing facility business offices at once highly preferred
Extensive experience in billing and collections including Medicare, Medicaid, Insurance, Private Pay, and Medicaid Pending within long term care required
Prior accounts receivable experience required
Must possess knowledge of Multistate Medicaid Pending, Recertification, and Authorizations
Experience with Managed Care billing and processes required
Knowledge of Resident Trust Fund processes required
Previous experience training and educating all levels of staff in person and remotely
Working knowledge of Point Click Care required
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Must be able to work well with others in a team environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required
Professional image in both appearance and behavior
Excellent written and oral communication skills
