The Role
Freedom Source, a subsidiary of Suffolk, is seeking a Regional Business Manager to lead the growth, performance, and execution of Freedom Source services across a defined region. This role serves as a strategic partner to Operations, Preconstruction, and Project Teams, driving value through disciplined supply chain execution, vendor strategy, and operational alignment.
The Regional Business Manager is accountable for regional performance, including service adoption, financial outcomes, and project delivery. This role ensures alignment between Freedom Source strategies and business objectives, while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, mitigate risk, and support scalable growth across the portfolio.
In close partnership with internal stakeholders and external vendors, this role proactively manages capacity, resolves issues, and drives execution against key project milestones. Through these efforts, the Regional Business Manager plays a critical role in advancing Freedom Source's supply chain strategy and enabling consistent, high-quality delivery across Suffolk's projects.
Responsibilities
Regional Leadership & Performance
Lead regional operations for Freedom Source, ensuring alignment with Suffolk's business objectives, performance expectations, and operational standards
Drive adoption and execution of Freedom Source services across multiple projects within the region
Business Development & Growth
Partner with Executive leadership, Operations, and Preconstruction to develop and execute regional business strategies
Support pursuits, proposals, and client engagement efforts to position Freedom Source as a value driver
Identify market trends, vendor capabilities, and growth opportunities to expand regional impact
Project Execution & Coordination
Oversee delivery of Freedom Source services from buyout through delivery and installation, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, cost, and quality expectations
Collaborate with project teams on product selection, supplier coordination, and pricing transparency
Provide supply chain expertise throughout the project lifecycle to optimize outcomes
Vendor & Client Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors, suppliers, and clients
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication, issue resolution, and delivery execution
Serve as an escalation point for vendor performance, capacity constraints, and project risks
Financial Management & Accountability
Own regional financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
Monitor financial metrics and implement strategies to optimize profitability and mitigate risk
Support project-level financial oversight, including alignment with budgets and contract requirements
Team Leadership & Development
Recruit, lead, and develop regional team members, fostering a high-performing and accountable culture
Provide coaching, performance feedback, and career development support
Align team structure and resources to meet regional business needs
Strategic Alignment & Continuous Improvement
Partner with senior leadership to align regional operations with Freedom Source and Suffolk's broader strategy
Drive consistency in processes, tools, and execution across projects
Identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and overall service delivery
Risk Management & Operational Excellence
Identify, assess, and mitigate operational, financial, and supply chain risks
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and contractual obligations
Establish and monitor performance metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement
Qualifications

Compensation Information
Base Salary for this position is just one component of Suffolk's total compensation package. Actual salaries may be based on several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate''s skill set, experience, education and other qualifications.
