The Opportunity: Regional Business Leader

Position Overview

The Regional Business Leader is responsible for the operational performance of approximately 6-12 locations within an assigned market. Reporting directly to the Regional Vice President, this individual will lead and develop location leaders while driving financial performance, operational consistency, and customer experience across the district.

This role is ideal for a proven multi-unit operator who understands how to build high-performing teams, coach leaders, and create accountability through strong operational discipline. The successful candidate will partner closely with senior leadership to execute company initiatives, improve business performance, and develop future leaders.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the operational performance of multiple retail or service locations while driving consistent execution across the district.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop location leaders to strengthen leadership capabilities and improve business performance.
  • Hold leaders accountable for operational standards, financial performance, customer experience, and key performance indicators.
  • Analyze business metrics and implement action plans to improve sales, profitability, and operational efficiency.
  • Lead teams through organizational initiatives and periods of change while maintaining employee engagement.
  • Build a culture centered on accountability, ownership, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
  • Conduct regular field visits to evaluate performance, provide coaching, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with senior field leadership to drive operational initiatives and talent development.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop future leaders to build a strong internal leadership pipeline.
  • Foster collaboration and the sharing of best practices across locations.


Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success leading multiple retail or service locations.
  • Strong operational leadership experience with responsibility for financial performance and key business metrics.
  • Experience coaching, developing, and holding frontline leaders accountable.
  • Proven ability to improve operational execution and lead teams through growth or organizational change.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to analyze performance and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
  • High emotional intelligence with a collaborative, low-ego leadership style.
  • Multi-unit retail experience preferred; exceptional leaders from other multi-site service organizations will also be considered.


Work Environment & Travel

This is a field-based leadership position supporting multiple locations throughout the Greater St. Louis market. The Regional Business Leader should expect to spend the majority of their time visiting locations, coaching leaders, monitoring operational performance, and partnering with field leadership to drive business results. Frequent local travel within the assigned district is required.
