Job Summary

The Regional Alignment Coordinator is responsible for strengthening coordination, communication, and alignment

of services across designated regions. This role ensures that program goals, policies, and initiatives are consistently

implemented and supported at the regional level. The coordinator works closely with internal departments,

community partners, and regional stakeholders to streamline processes, enhance service delivery, and promote

organizational standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conducts and attends meetings with community stakeholders to raise awareness of substance use data needs

and enhance data collection efforts within the region.

  • Promotes school participation in the Texas School Survey of Drug and Alcohol Use and university

and college participation in the Texas college Survey of Substance Use.

  • Coordinates with Texas A&M Public Policy Research Institute.
  • Supports Local and Regional Data collection Strategies.
  • Documents collaborative efforts using HHSC-generated templates.
  • Establishes and maintains agreements with community stakeholders.
  • Develops and maintains a Regional Epidemiological Workgroup (REW)
  • Conducts or participates in a minimum of four REW meetings and document as requested.
  • Ensures that written surveys and data collection tools are culturally appropriate.
  • Develops a Regional Needs Assessment (RNA) to provide community organizations and stakeholders.
  • Develops and facilitates at least one region-wide event during the current fiscal year based on RNA data findings.
  • Directs community stakeholders to resources regarding data collection strategies and evaluation activities.
  • Create a group of HHSC funded stakeholders (ex: Regional Alliance). The group''s activities must include but

are not limited to hosting meetings, giving presentations, and sharing data and resources.

  • Participate in the development of PRC media messages and conduct regional surveys to determine the

type of media activities that will be conducted to promote statewide messages as per SOW.

  • Attend key and general staff meetings; QA/QI meetings, representing the agency by speaking before public

and private sector on drug abuse education, prevention; and attending/representing the agency

at meetings designated by the Program Director.

  • Submit monthly, quarterly reports and data collection plan on the evaluation of the contract requirements

and a midyear report. Other reports that may be required by the SOW and Aliviane, Inc.

  • Maintains good work habits through timeliness and low absenteeism. Punctual at all times; Takes initiative

to identify and analyze problems generates alternative solutions.

  • Carries out all other assignments to meet the goals and objectives of Aliviane Inc. Understands, accepts, implements and promotes Aliviane Inc. Mission Statement, program/department goals, philosophy and objectives; Serves as a role model for employees, clients and community partners.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  • Strong Interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) as well as qualitative and quantitative analytic skills.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Strong consultative and project management skills and ability to work efficiently and effectively both autonomously and in small teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously; and demonstrate initiative in taking on additional responsibilities when needed.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective individual and team-working relationships with agency staff, consumers, and service providers.

Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor''s degree in Social, and Behavioral Science, Public Health, or related field required;
  • At least three years of experience in a related field and nonprofit sector.
  • Experience that can be demonstrated to be applicable to the duties listed in the job description.
