Working Title: Regional Admissions CounselorPosition Type: AdministrativeClassification Title: Counselor - AcademicCollege/Division: Strategic Enrollment Management & Retention (SEMR )Department: AdmissionsWork Location: Hybrid, based on the Portland-Metro campus located in Wilsonville, OR, two (2) days per week; when not traveling for recruitment.Position Terms/Mo: 12 months, annuallyFull/Part time: Full TimeAppointment FTE (%): 1.00Exempt/Non-Exempt: ExemptThis position is eligible for Oregon Tech's comprehensive Benefits offerings.Position SummaryThe purpose of this position is to represent Oregon Tech in the recruitment of new students to all Oregon Tech campuses (Klamath Falls, Portland-Metro, other satellite locations, and online) and to present information to groups and organizations about Oregon Tech, with emphasis on building connections with prospective students, families, high school guidance counselors, and transfer coordinators throughout the Pacific Northwest and Mountain West area, the Portland Metro area in particular.Representation of Oregon Tech is accomplished in a variety of settings and formats. The person in this position travels extensively to high schools, community colleges and career fairs throughout Portland, the Gorge, Vancouver, and other areas deemed necessary to present and represent Oregon Tech as an attractive college choice.
