We are hiring full-time Vocational Support Advisors in Kennebec, Somerset, Lincoln, Waldo, and Knox counties. Starting pay is $22.37/hr.
This role involves helping clients with disabilities overcome employment barriers by coordinating services, connecting them with employers, and providing education on accommodations and rights. You will collaborate with agencies, recruit businesses for work-based learning, assess client needs, and manage relationships with stakeholders while maintaining confidentiality.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, experience with disabilities or business development, proficiency in computer applications, and valid driver’s license. A BA/BS is preferred. Certification in rehabilitation services (ACRE) is required within six months.
