Description
Reporting directly into the Senior Manager of Operations, you will be responsible for:
Lead, direct and support shift‑based operations teams to ensure safe and reliable plant operation
Enforce and promote strict adherence to health, safety and environmental standards for employees and contractors
Plan and execute daily and weekly production schedules to meet output, quality and cost targets
Monitor operational performance and KPIs, identifying and resolving process or equipment issues
Coordinate maintenance activities, follow up on corrective actions and ensure accurate system documentation
Ensure sufficient staffing and resources are in place to support uninterrupted operations
Develop team capability through coaching, cross‑training and performance management
Foster a strong culture of teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement
Ensure compliance with quality, food safety and regulatory programs (including HACCP and certification standards)
Prepare and analyze operational reports, sharing insights with senior leadership
Support new product introductions and change initiatives within the plant
Profile
Education: Degree in chemical engineering or other engineering discipline
Proven experience in a supervisory or team‑lead role within a manufacturing, processing or chemical manufacturing environment
Strong working knowledge of production operations, maintenance coordination and safety systems
Confident communicator with the ability to lead, coach and address performance issues constructively
Comfortable working with operational data, reports and production planning tools (ERP experience beneficial)
Able to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs and schematics
Willingness to work flexible schedules, including on‑call responsibilities when required
Practical, resilient and safety‑driven leadership style suited to a demanding operational environment
Rotating Weekly Schedule:
Week 1: 6 am - 2 pm
Week 2: 11:30 am - 7 pm
Week 3: 1 pm - 9 pm
