Be the matchmaker behind great careers! Black Bear Talent is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Recruiting Coordinator to support our recruiting and onboarding efforts. The ideal candidate is professional, customer service driven, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Review resumes and applications daily through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to identify qualified candidates
- Assist on phone screens to evaluate candidate qualifications, experience, availability, and fit for open positions
- Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the interview, hiring, and onboarding process to ensure engagement and a positive experience
- Assist on coordinating interview scheduling between candidates and hiring managers
- Update candidate records and maintain accurate documentation within the ATS
- Complete and verify I-9 documentation to ensure employment eligibility compliance
- Process pre-employment requirements including background checks and drug screenings
- Track onboarding progress and follow up with candidates to ensure timely completion of required documentation
- Maintain confidential candidate and employee records in compliance with company policies and employment regulations
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to candidate, employee, and client inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Provide general administrative support to the recruiting team and office operations
- Assist with employment verifications, candidate follow-ups, and recruiting-related documentation
- Help ensure a positive and professional experience for all candidates and visitors
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Human Resources or equivalent related experience required
- Previous recruiting, staffing or human resources experience required (2 - 3 years minimum)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
- Successfully pass pre-employment background screen and drug test
