Position Overview

George Washington University Hospital is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator with Human Resources experience to support recruitment and onboarding operations. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for new hires and ensure a smooth onboarding experience while coordinating hiring processes, background checks, and recruitment-related administrative activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for new hires throughout the onboarding process.
  • Coordinate and monitor pre-employment requirements, including background checks and onboarding documentation.
  • Support recruiters, hiring managers, and HR teams with recruitment activities.
  • Maintain applicant and employee records within Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Schedule interviews, orientations, and onboarding sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare reports, track onboarding progress, and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives within recruitment and onboarding functions.
  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department.

Required Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources, Recruiting, Staffing, or Talent Acquisition.
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Bachelor''s Degree preferred.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Strong administrative and coordination experience.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Program coordination or training experience.
  • Healthcare recruitment or healthcare HR experience.
  • Experience supporting onboarding and employee engagement initiatives.
