Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Recruiter to join our team in Victorville, CA. This role is responsible for the full-cycle recruiting of CDL A Truck Drivers, Mechanics, and Office Personnel. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, comfortable with heavy outreach activities, and knowledgeable in recruiting within the pneumatic trucking industry. Leadership experience and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Recruiting & Hiring

• Source, screen, and hire qualified candidates for:
  • CDL A Truck Drivers
  • Mechanics
  • Office Personnel
• Conduct applicant interviews and assess candidate qualifications
• Match applicants to best-fit opportunities based on skills and experience
• Quote and explain pay packages accurately and professionally
• Verify applicant qualifications in accordance with PTL Driver qualification guidelines
• Ensure candidate files are complete, accurate, and ready prior to orientation

Outreach & Sourcing

• Perform high-volume outreach, including:
  • Text messaging
  • Cold calling
  • Internal database outreach
  • Referral sourcing
• Build and maintain a strong social media recruiting presence across:
  • LinkedIn
  • Facebook
  • Instagram
  • Twitter

Leadership & Collaboration

• Manage and support a recruiting team
• Maintain thorough knowledge of the Driver Recruiting Manual and all updates
• Foster strong intercompany relationships and collaboration
• Exercise discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times

Administrative & Reporting

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date applicant files and communication records
• Track recruiting activity and generate reports for management
• Arrange transportation and hotel accommodations for candidates with conditional offers
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication skills; bilingual preferred
• Proven experience managing or leading a team
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• General knowledge of the pneumatic trucking industry and recruiting best practices
• Familiarity with social media platforms for recruiting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams)
• Willingness to travel as required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit and use a phone for extended periods
• Ability to work all shifts; weekends and holidays may be required
• Light bending, stooping, and climbing stairs
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Occasional travel required
