    The Nurse Manager II – Operating Room (OR) is responsible for leading clinical operations, patient care delivery, and administrative functions within a 24/7 acute care hospital environment. This role ensures high-quality,safe, and compliant patient care while driving operational excellence, staff development, and strategic initiatives across multiple clinical units.

    Key Responsibilities
    Leadership & Team Management
    • Lead, mentor, and develop nursing staff and leadership teams
    • Drive performance management, coaching, and succession planning
    • Foster collaboration across multidisciplinary teams
    • Build a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement
    Clinical Operations & Patient Care
    • Oversee patient care delivery systems and practice standards across units
    • Ensure optimal staffing, resource utilization, and workflow efficiency
    • Maintain clinical expertise and supervise care delivery
    • Resolve patient/family concerns related to care and services
    Regulatory & Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, Nursing Practice Act, and federal/state regulations
    • Lead audit readiness, mock surveys, and regulatory documentation
    • Maintain patient safety and quality standards
    Financial & Administrative Management
    • Manage departmental budgets (payroll & non-payroll)
    • Monitor financial performance and cost optimization
    • Develop operational reports and performance metrics
    Quality Improvement & Strategy
    • Lead quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
    • Implement best practices and process enhancements
    • Drive strategic planning and cross-functional projects
    • Utilize data analytics to improve outcomes
    Emergency Preparedness
    • Develop and maintain emergency preparedness plans
    • Ensure staff training and readiness for crisis situations
    Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN required)
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) License – California
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
    • Minimum 5+ years in patient care delivery
    • Minimum 5+ years in healthcare operations or related field
    • Minimum 4+ years in leadership role
    • Experience in acute care hospital setting (Main OR required)
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN preferred)
    • CNOR Certification preferred
    • Experience in Operating Room or procedural specialties
    • Strong background in:
