We are now hiring for a Recruiter / New Hire Clerk for a company in New Braunfels, TX. Please submit your resume to this posting and call our office at 830-629-2525. 

Pay: $19/hr.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.

REQUISITES:
  • Able to communicate effectively verbally, writing and face-to-face.
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office.
  • Comply with all Federal, State, local laws and regulations, company policy and rules.

JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements, contacting recruiters, and using newsgroups and job sites.
  • Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers and interviewing applicants on a consistent set of qualifications
  • Assist with maintaining CMI Drug Testing and maintenance of new hires and active employees
  • Assist with maintaining DOT (Department of Transportation) compliance management service) such as but not limited to Medical Card and Driver’s License.
  • Assist with maintaining IIX (Motor Vehicle Reports, Federal Criminal Record Reports, etc.)
  • Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.
  • Communicate effectively/daily with multiple departments and management
  • Assist with training over the phone and over computer
  • Maintain human resources records by ensuring all plants and HR Dept. is processing paperwork accordingly (new hires, transfers, terminations, changes in job classifications, job descriptions, etc.)
  • Review/Approve Invoices
  • Assist with Monthly, Quarterly, Year End Reporting and Compliance to include but not limited to (IIX, CMI, FMCSA, KRONOS, CLINICS, SAP)
  • Collect all new employment information and prepare employee files.
  • Fax new employment information to TXNH, TXDPS, CDL Holders Report, & CMI.
  • Establish MVR files on each driver.

ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS:
Work is indoors in regulated central heat and air conditioned building.  Occasional exposure to cement dust and noise.
