Our client in the healthcare industry is looking to hire a recruiter who has home health care recruiting experience in the Philadelphia suburbs. This is a direct hire for the experienced recruiter who has excellent sourcing, networking and creative recruiting strategies to attract talent
 
Salary - Up to $28 per hour
Hours/Schedule - May report to multiple locations; M-F 8:30 - 9 a.m. to 4:30 - 5 p.m. (Flexible)
Benefits - will be covered by the employee. PTO benefits are offered on the following schedule: First year 10 days, 2nd year 15 days, and 3+ Years 20 days.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Candidate Sourcing

  • Develop and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified caregiver candidates.
  • Post and manage job openings across job boards, social media, and other recruitment platforms.
  • Attend job fairs, community events, and networking opportunities to attract potential candidates.
  • Build relationships with CNA/HHA training programs, community organizations, and referral sources.
  • Conduct outreach to passive candidates to maintain an active candidate pipeline.

Candidate Screening & Interviewing

  • Review applications and resumes to identify qualified candidates.
  • Conduct phone and in-person interviews to evaluate caregiver experience, reliability, and professionalism.
  • Assess candidates for communication skills and compatibility with client care needs.
  • Document candidate evaluations and maintain accurate recruitment records.

Hiring & Onboarding

  • Coordinate hiring decisions with management when appropriate.
  • Guide new hires through the onboarding process and ensure a smooth transition into the agency.
  • Ensure all employment documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Communicate agency expectations, policies, and procedures to caregivers before their first assignment.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Verify employment eligibility and required documentation for all new hires.
  • Coordinate background checks, reference checks, and other required screenings.
  • Maintain organized caregiver files within the practice management system.
  • Ensure hiring records meet agency and regulatory compliance standards.

Internal Communication & Staffing Coordination

  • Work closely with scheduling and office staff to support caregiver staffing needs.
  • Provide regular updates on recruitment activity, candidate pipeline, and hiring progress.
  • Respond to applicant inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Support initiatives that improve caregiver engagement and retention.
