The Recruiter for FTIC Admissions serves as the regional representative for New College of Florida (NCF), responsible for executing outreach, recruitment, and yield initiatives across a regional territory as assigned by the Office of Admissions. This position operates within the structured FTIC admissions team hierarchy, collaborating closely with the Assistant Director and Associate Director for guidance, supervision, and territory planning while aligning to strategic goals set by the Associate Director and Director of Undergraduate Admissions. This role requires strategic planning, travel adaptability, and clear communication with leadership to maintain consistent coverage, territory growth, and follow-up standards.
Examples of Duties
Provide admissions and scholarship counseling to prospective students and families
Conduct preliminary review of FTIC applications from assigned territories
Accurately record and maintain applicant information, inquiries, and follow-up communications in Slate CRM
Represent NCF at high schools, community colleges, and educational organizations, serving as the main contact for students, parents, and counselors
Develop annual territory management plans that include goals for school visits, application targets, and partnership development
Cultivate and maintain relationships with high school counselors, dual-enrollment coordinators, and community leaders to enhance NCF's visibility and engagement
Partner with local organizations such as regional counselor associations for event collaborations
Manage travel logistics, event registration, and budget for assigned areas, submitting reports on time
Attend and assist with campus events such as Preview Days, Open Houses, and Admitted Student Days
Coordinate local yield and counselor events within the region, working closely with the Associate Director to ensure strategic timing and outreach
Submit biweekly activity reports summarizing travel, events, and student interactions
Participate in team meetings as necessary
Collaborate with other Recruiters to balance travel coverage and maximize recruitment visibility across the state
Uphold institutional, regulator, and ethical standards in all communication and documentation
Maintain professionalism, reliability, and strong time management in independent travel and event scheduling
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively
Preferred Qualifications
Previous college admissions or recruitment experience
Experience with Technolutions Slate CRM or similar systems
Experience serving complex territories or managing large-scale travel schedules for higher education recruitment
Familiarity with the State University System of Florida
Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish or English/Creole)
