We recruit Independent Contractors to pick up and deliver lifesaving blood supplies across the nation.
What does a Recruiter do at OnWay Transport?
- Process skills: Follows and improves workflows. Organized and consistent. Identifies inefficiencies and fixes them. Having process skills ensures work is done correctly and efficiently.
- Candidate Communication: Manage high volumes of inbound and outbound calls to coordinate enrollments, follow-ups, and candidate contracting.
- Candidate Screening: Conduct preliminary screening calls with applicants to assess candidate compatibility with client needs. Maintains a positive, helpful attitude.
- Onboarding Support (Growth Opportunity): Gain experience in reviewing and approving onboarding documents, ensuring compliance, and accuracy.
- Driver Orientation (Growth Opportunity): Assist in orientating newly contracted drivers on SOP policies and procedures.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with all departments, especially Dispatch, to understand client/location needs and ensure seamless operations.
- Job Advertising: Create and post engaging job advertisements across various platforms to attract qualified candidates.
- Talent Management: Ensure a consistent pipeline of qualified drivers to meet operational demands.
- Office Oversight: Support daily office operations, maintain organized records, and contribute to a productive work environment.
- Quality Assurance: Verify the completion and accuracy of assigned tasks and finished work to ensure quality standards are met.

Shift: Onsite Day Shift Role.
Hourly Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour.
Requirements:
- 2 years’ experience in a high–volume, high–quality customer service/Support environment with strong system/software experience required.
- 2 years’ experience working in a fast paced and high call volume environment.
- Strong administration skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and competing priorities.
- Advanced experience level working with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, Job Boards, and Job Postings).
- Clear, concise, and effective communication skills.
- Superb conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to display integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Work successfully independently and in a team environment.
