We are currently looking for a Recreational Therapist to join our team. As our Therapist, you will assist patients in regaining or developing their highest functional level considering their impairments. You will also participate in the Performance Improvement Program as well as the educational and orientation programs. You will train support personnel too. If you are dedicated to caring for the well-being of others, this could be your next opportunity.
Your duties and responsibilities may include:
• Performing evaluations and providing personalized therapeutic recreational programs to restore, remediate, or rehabilitate a patients physical, mental, and emotional well-being. • Participating in rounding and proactively responding to patient needs to improve patient outcomes and positively impact overall patient experience. • Documenting patient activities and progress, monitoring, and evaluating the effectiveness of treatment, and modifying it as necessary to improve treatment outcomes.
Requirements
• Bachelors Degree in Therapeutic Recreation or Activities Therapy • One year of experience working in therapeutic recreation programs preferred • Current CTRS Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, MT-BS Music Therapist - Board Certified, ATR-BC Art Therapist - Board Certified, or BC-DMT Board Certified Dance Movement Therapist

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date • Other: Fingerprint Required • Bachelors Degree • Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist or Art Therapist or Music Therapist or Recreation Therapist
