This entry-level, limited part-time role provides flexibility, hands-on experience, and the rewarding satisfaction of enriching the lives of others through recreation and community engagement.THIS IS A LIMITED PART-TIME POSITIONThe day and hours for this position: varies Bargaining Unit: No Union RepresentationPosting may close at any time Examples of Work Performed Assist in the coordination of recreation programs including adult and youth sports, special events, and other recreational activities.Responsible for the preparation, set-up and clean-up of baseball, softball and soccer fields.Perform a variety of general administrative duties including: answer telephones, assist customers, collect fees, and maintain attendance records.Promote the safety of all program participants.Assist with the set-up and take-down of tables, chairs, and sports equipment for all facility activities and special events.Oversee the regular operations of a community center, fields, and gymnasium facility.Respond to patrons needs for assistance and information in person and over the phone.Operate a variety of standard office equipment including personal computer.Officiates or keeps score for sports activities.Perform basic custodial duties.Sets up and takes down building furnishings and arrangements.Completion of work assignments may require operation of a vehicle.These examples are not intended to be all-inclusive. Experience and Training Required Experience and TrainingMust be at least 18 years of age.
