About the Role: We're looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Recreation / Activity Coordinator to join our team and create meaningful, engaging experiences for our residents. In this hands-on role, you'll plan and lead a variety of activities that promote socialization, wellness, and joy-while building strong one-on-one connections along the way.

This position is ideal for a self-starter who thrives working independently and enjoys bringing new ideas to life. From group events and outings to individualized engagement, your work will have a direct and lasting impact on the daily lives of our residents.

What You'll Do:

• Plan, promote, and facilitate a variety of recreational and social activities
• Encourage and support resident participation in programs and events
• Provide one-on-one engagement tailored to resident interests and needs
• Assist residents during mealtimes
• Perform light housekeeping duties as needed
• Safely transport residents to off-campus outings using a 15-passenger bus and other community vehicles (training provided)
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a vibrant and inclusive environment

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) preferred, but not required
• Dementia training preferred, or willingness to learn
• Previous experience in activities coordination or a related field
• High energy, creativity, and a passion for working with older adults
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Flexible availability, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Valid, clean driver's license
