Comments And Notes: ONLY FEMALE CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION DUE TO PATIENT POPULATION BEING FEMALE ONLY. THIS IS A 24 HOUR/WEEK FLEX POSITION - MUST BE ABLE TO PASS AN ADAM WALSH BACKGROUND CHECK - PLEASE READ: This position is a rotating shift between evening shift and night shift. as needed. Shifts may be last minute scheduled, so they must have open availability and be prepared to be called in last minute. Shifts could be scheduled ahead of time, or notified 2 hours prior to shift. The expectation should be set that they will need to be available or share their availability for the week. Only 24 hours will be guaranteed, but may be utilized for up to 40 hours, if they are available and willing. Must be available to work the 24 hours any time during the week. EXAMPLE: May be scheduled to work ahead of time Mon, Tues and Sat, but could be called in for the fourth shift, with 2 hours notice for an additional shift, any of the remaining days of the week. Location: Tewsbury - Hart House - Recovery Specialist - Clients are provided with the medical and emotional support that they need during the one of the most pivotal stages in the recovery process. Services include individual case management and group treatment services focused on assisting the client with accessing step-down levels of care. The Recovery Specialist position is a great opportunity for someone who seeks to be a positive presence in the lives of those who are struggling with addiction. Essential Responsibilities including but not limited to: " Ensuring the safety and structure of the program milieu by monitoring client activities. " Observes and supervises clients and unit; conducts 30-minute client well-being checks. " Conducts telephone admission screenings as well as other admissions duties. " Searches client belongings on admission and at discharge, or as otherwise directed by supervisor. " Completes all necessary checklists, shift documentation and record keeping in a timely manner in accordance with agency policies and procedures. Minimum Qualifications: " High school diploma or general education degree (GED) " Experience working with substance use population is preferred " Valid MA Driver s License in good standing preferred Must be separated from any BILH affiliated facilities for 6 months prior to being considered.
