    JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    As a Records Technician, you will play an important role in providing exceptional customer service to over 91,000 citizens of Nashua. Primary duties include:

    • Providing information, assistance, reports, and direction to the public; • Providing clerical functions and coordinated support/assistance to the Records Division; • Redacting of documentation and releasing of reports as it pertains to the Right to Know Law; • Locating/retrieving information, processing restraining orders and other related paperwork, purging information; • Monitoring the main lobby; • And other related duties.

    The right candidate will have a strong customer service background and have a good understanding regarding the importance of confidentiality. Performs other duties as assigned.

    This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 10 am to 6 pm, is part of the Teamsters Collective Bargaining Unit, and provides an excellent work-life balance. The position is grade 6, with an hourly rate dependent upon experience.

    SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

    High school diploma or certified equivalent

    A minimum of one-year relevant work experience. A combination of equivalent education and experience will be considered

    Must possess or obtain SPOTS/NCIC certification within one year of acceptance of this position

    Must possess good oral communication and human relations skills, computer literacy to perform the requirements of the position
