ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
Our agency opened in 1990 and has grown into a team of five who are passionate about serving our customers and community. Before becoming a State Farm agent, I worked in education, which helped shape my leadership style and passion for mentoring and developing others.

I’m a second-generation State Farm agent and hold a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Kentucky University and a master’s degree from Georgetown College. I’m honored to have received the Henrietta Cleveland Inspiring Women Award. Giving back to the community is incredibly important to me, and I stay actively involved through the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, the St. Elizabeth Healthcare Foundation Committee, Williamstown Kiwanis, ACS Relay for Life, and as President of the Grant County High School Alumni Association.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Carolyn Thomas-Thompson - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
  • Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
  • Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
  • Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
  • Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
