Welcome! ¡Bienvenidos! I’m Alexa Santana, proud owner of the first-ever State Farm Agency in Rahway, New Jersey.

As a bilingual agent (hablo Inglés y Español) and lifelong Central New Jersey resident, I’ve built my agency on connection, compassion, and commitment. With a Bachelor of Science from Centenary University and over 23 years of State Farm experience, I earned the opportunity to open my doors as an agent in April 2021. Becoming a State Farm Agent isn’t something that happens overnight—it’s a journey built on helping others, something I’m deeply passionate about.

Being a Legacy Agent (my parents are also State Farm Agents), this career is more than a job—it’s part of my family and my purpose. But my most important role? I’m a proud mom to an amazing child with autism. Being a special needs parent has shaped how I lead with empathy, advocate fiercely, and celebrate every milestone—at home and in business.

My passion is helping others feel confident about their future by preparing for the unexpected and making space for their goals and dreams.

We’re here to serve the communities of New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania with Automobile, Homeowners, Renters, Condominium, Commercial, Pet, and Life Insurance. You can find us in the heart of the Rahway Arts District inside The Mall on East Cherry Street, right across from The Waiting Room Restaurant.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Alexa Santana - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
  • Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
  • Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
  • Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
  • Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
