A busy and professional law firm in downtown Pittsfield is seeking a dependable and polished Receptionist to provide coverage during an employee leave. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service and administrative skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment.
Responsibilities
- Answer and route incoming telephone calls professionally and efficiently
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate staff member
- Process, sort, and distribute incoming mail and deliveries
- Assist with general office support duties, including:
- Scanning documents
- Copying and filing
- Faxing
- Data entry and document organization
- Maintain a professional and welcoming front office environment
- Provide administrative support to attorneys and office staff as needed
Qualifications
- Previous receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience preferred
- Professional appearance and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a busy office setting
- Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain confidentiality
