Receptionist/Patient Accounts Representative
The Receptionist/Patient Accounts Representative (Receptionist/PAR) functions as an intermediary between staff, patients, peers, and visitors. The Receptionist/PAR is responsible for maintaining the organization of the medical office by performing various administrative and clerical tasks essential to the provision of efficient and effective care. The Receptionist/PAR is also responsible for the registration of new patients, insurance verification and account counseling.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent, required
- Experience counting money accurately, required
- Experience as a receptionist, patient account representative or similar role, preferred
Qualifications:
- Strong discretion and ability to handle confidential information
- Composure in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Willingness and ability to learn new technologies
- Dependable, punctual, and highly detail-oriented
- Strong multitasking and independent-work capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Accurate documentation skills
- Ability to follow established workflows consistently
Work Schedule:
Rotating schedule. (36 hours per week)
Week One: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 7:00AM - 7:00PM.
Week Two: Monday and Friday, 7:00AM - 7:00PM, Saturday, 9:00AM - 3:00PM and Sunday, 12:30PM - 5:30PM
