**Job Description:**
The Receptionist/Medical Assistant will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and efficient operation of the front desk. In this dual role, the successful candidate will perform administrative duties as well as support the medical team with clinical tasks. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for patient care.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Greet and check-in/out patients, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is obtained.
- Manage phone lines, schedule appointments, and answer patient inquiries efficiently.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality and security of information.
- Assist healthcare providers with clinical duties such as taking vital signs, preparing examination rooms, and assisting during medical procedures.
- Coordinate referrals and pre-authorizations as necessary.
- Ensure that office supplies and medical inventory are adequately stocked and organized.
- Collaborate with medical staff to provide exceptional patient care.
- Perform other administrative and clinical tasks as assigned.

**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent; medical assistant certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a receptionist or medical assistant in a healthcare setting is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and medical software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- CPR certification is a plus.
