Garner Appliance & Mattress seeking a friendly, dependable receptionist to join our local, family-owned appliance and mattress store at our Garner location.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to assist with a variety of customer service and administrative tasks.
JOB SUMMARY
- Greet customers with a friendly, welcoming attitude
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers as needed
- Prepare and process invoices
- Log and organize files within the company system
- Assist with light accounting-related tasks; prior accounting experience is not required
- Keep workstations organized and stocked
- Provide general administrative and customer service support
- Work at the North Raleigh location when coverage is needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Friendly, professional, and dependable
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to learn invoicing, filing, and internal systems
- Flexible and willing to provide coverage at both showroom locations when needed
JOB TYPE
This is a Monday through Friday position with every other Saturday required. Employees scheduled to work on Saturday will have Wednesday off that week.
Starting pay is $18 per hour.
