The Job in a Nutshell:
The Receptionist is the first point of contact for inbound calls and for visitors to the Lakewood Store Support Center. In addition, this position provides general accounting support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks.
Responsibilities
Main Ingredients:
In a friendly, professional and hospitable manner answers incoming calls and ensures phone calls are redirected accordingly Provides callers with information such as company address, directions to the Home Office location, company website and other related information Greets and announces visitors to the Home Office Opens, sorts and distributes the mail; date stamps invoices and prepares for pickup Performs a variety of clerical duties and accounts payable support activities such as: Audit store closeoutsReconcile daily paperwork from the storesMatching invoices to checks and verifying accuracySorting CouponsDepositing checks dailyMaintaining vendor files and file rotation to the warehouse
Although this is a general outline of job responsibilities all employees are expected to be "hands on" and do whatever it takes to get the job done and make the company thrive.
Qualifications
Recipe for Success:
High school diploma or GED is required Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience Possesses excellent phone etiquette and is customer service driven Possesses exceptional interpersonal communication skills Punctual and has a good attendance history Possesses strong organizational skills with attention to details Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
