Key Responsibilities:
- Shipment Inspection: Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming merchandise, identifying damaged, mislabeled, or substandard products.
- Inventory Management: Input and update purchase orders, shipping data, and product logs into the internal inventory system.
- Documentation & Coordination: Review paperwork, process vendor returns, and coordinate closely with merchandising managers regarding inventory deliveries.
- Safety & Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area and warehouse, adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience as a receiver in a retail or warehouse setting is preferred.
- Skills: Good computer skills for managing inventory software are required.
- Physical Ability: Capability to handle, lift, and move, merchandise.
Working Conditions:
- This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on accuracy, safety, and efficient handling of goods.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $16.90/hr.
