Work Environment: Cold Storage Facility

TMD Staffing is looking to hire a Receiver in Baytown!

Primary Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
• Verify purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documentation
• Check product temperatures and ensure cold chain compliance
• Unload, label, and organize inventory in designated storage areas
• Communicate with drivers, warehouse staff, and supervisors regarding deliveries
• Enter receiving data accurately into warehouse systems
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area
• Follow all food safety, warehouse safety, and cold storage procedures

Requirements:

• Previous receiving or warehouse experience preferred
• Experience working in a cold storage or refrigerated environment is a plus
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in cold temperatures for extended periods
• Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Schedule:  4:00 AM - 2:30 PM OR 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM (4x10 schedule)

Pay: $18-19/hr
