This position is responsible for efficiently servicing assigned customers while complying with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations and with Company policies. **USA Waste & Recycling is offering a sign-on bonus of up to \$3000, depending on experience.** **Why USA Waste & Recycling** - \$3000 sign-on bonus - Additional bonus potential - 401 (K), Roth, and Profit Sharing/Match Plans - Competitive compensation - Modern fleet with top technology - New truck fleet every 5 years - Excellent benefits package - Training and development opportunities with a growing, family-owned company. **Your Role:** - Driving safely and efficiently to complete assigned routes accurately and on time. - Dump containers manually and/or using a rear lift mechanism. - Empty vehicle at disposal site - Participate in all required Company meetings, including weekly safety meetings. - Assist other drivers with routes when directed. - Pre and post-trip inspection and report - Complete route paperwork - Work all assigned shifts from the scheduled start time to the scheduled end time. - Take an active role in the improvement of safety and health in the workplace. - Report complaints and concerns from customers to dispatch professionally. - Report concerns with the problem professionally to Dispatch. - Maintains reasonable, regular, punctual attendance consistent with Company policies, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and other federal, state, and local standards. - Adapts to changing duties, as required, based on business needs. **Your Skills:** - Customer-focused. - Safety knowledgeable and focused - Professional in appearance and demeanor - Respectful of Company vehicles and equipment - Quality-oriented - Reliable and dependable - Able to adapt to changing work requirements on a daily/hourly basis. - Exceptional driving skills - Ability to read and write (logs, reports, orders, maps, etc.) - Grit, outgoing, and eager to learn. **Desirable requirements:** - Appropriate Commercial Driver\'s License (CDL) - Commercial Driver\'s License A or B with an air brake endorsement is a plus. - Acceptable driving record - Able to meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements. - Basic mechanical knowledge **This Position Features:** - Family-Oriented Environment - Excellent Benefits and Bonus Potential - Sign-On bonus up to \$3000, depending on experience **Physical Demands:** - Listed below are key points regarding the job\'s environmental demands and work environment.
