Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a Tier 1 vendor for the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) and we are recruiting for an open contract requisition for an experienced, Realty Representative, to assist with title abstracting activities of TVA’s realty assets in central Mississippi. 
 
  • Contract Duration:  06/01/26 – 05/31/27 (12 months)
  • Originating Location:  Downtown Chattanooga office
  • Operating Location:  Central Mississippi
  • Work Status:  Hybrid with regional travel 
  • W2 Pay Rate:  Up to $37.50/hour (time & half for overtime)

Responsibilities:
  • TRAVELS THE CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI AREA TO PERFORM TITLE ABSTRACTING ACTIVITIES. 
  • CONDUCTS IN-HOUSE LANDRIGHTS ANALYSIS USING TVA RECORDS.
  • REPORTS PROJECT STATUS TO VARIOUS PROGRAM MANAGERS WITHIN TVA AND INTERNALLY TO THE MANAGEMENT TEAM.
  • ACCOUNTABLE FOR MEETING CRITICAL PATH PROJECT DATES FOR WHICH THEY HAVE RESPONSIBILITY.
  • RESEARCH, WRITES, AND REVIEWS REPORTS OF VALUE, TITLE CONDITION, AND NEGOTIATION STATUS.

Education / Experience:
  • ASSJOCIATE OR BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN BUSINESS OR SIMILAR FIELD PREFERRED.
  • ACTIVE APPRAISAL LICENSE, RIGHT-OF-WAY DESIGNATION, OR REAL ESTATE LICENSE IS HIGHLY DESIRABLE.
  • KNOWLEDGE OF PUBLIC ACQUISITION PROCESSES AS RELATED TO CORRIDOR EASEMENT DEVELOPMENT AND FEE-SIMPLE SITE ASSEMBLAGE PREFERRED.
  • MUST POSSESS A VALID MOTOR VEHICLE DRIVER LICENSE.
