Job Details

Seeking an Experienced Tax Associate/Senior to service as main point of contact for assigned clients. You will support complex real estate partnership tax engagements in a client facing environment. You will own partnership tax compliance for a wide portfolio of clients specific to real estate.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of tax prep experience for real estate clients
• Experience with Section 754 elections and the resulting inside/outside basis adjustments
• Comfortable managing fixed asset ledgers, depreciation calculations, and capitalization decisions
• Solid grasp of partnership allocation methodology, including special allocations and distribution waterfalls
• Familiarity with step-up transactions and the mechanics of purchase price allocation
• Experience preparing and reviewing Schedule K-1s

Preferred:

• CPA or EA (in process or licensed)
